Abandoned Pub in Co. Wexford.

Photo of derelict old pub
Stumbled across this abandoned pub on my travels in Co. Wexford. Can’t place the area exactly, but it is somewhere between Carne, Lady’s Island and Tagoat.

Sad to see what looked like a once thriving road-house business go to this state. But unfortunately this has been happening on a huge scale across the country for the past couple of years and nobody is really talking about the social and cultural implications.

If you have an opinion on this or have any photographs or videos please let us know and send them in. If you would like to join the conversation, subscribe to our YouTube channel and follow us on Twitter and Facebook.

Would appreciate if anyone had any info on this pub and its exact location. Thanks

That’s in Broadway, located as you say just off the road from Tagoat to Lady’s Island (d’island of Our Lady y’know). I think there is a sad story associated with that pub though not necessarily connected with its closure. I don’t think I have ever seen a single human being in all my times passing through Broadway. A nice little convenience store closed down there shortly after I first came across it. Spooky place now I find it….
